A year on, after releasing and touring their #1 album “Westway (The Glitter & The Slums)”, Sticky Fingers are back.
Sticky Fingers is the soundtrack to a sunbathed backyard. It’s the birth child of a fling between Manchester Rock and Kingston Dub, and raised on rock and roll - luring listeners in with a salivating caress of the soul.
Over the past 5 years and 3 albums, Dylan Frost (vocals/guitar) Seamus Coyle, (lead guitar), Paddy Cornwall, (bass), Beaker Best, (drums), andFreddy Crabs, (keys), earned themselves household name on the strength of their seductive style and high-voltage live shows.
The lads spent most of 2015 and 2016 abroad with a plethora of sold out shows around the world, taking them to USA, Canada, Europe, UK, and New Zealand multiple times. The album debuted at #1 on the ARIA charts, stormed the AIR Independent Album Chart at #1, clocked up an arsenal of viral hits (‘How To Fly’ is sitting on 16 million views, ‘Australia Street’ has 11 million), drew record festival crowds (Splendour In The Grass 2016), and sold-out tours around the globe over and over again.
Stickies also performed to a record-breaking early attendance crowd of 20,000 people at Splendour In The Grass in 2014 before returning in 2016 to play to one of the biggest crowds in the festival’s history. They also played Falls Festival, Woodford Festival, Southbound Festival and BW Festival (NZ) all over one New Year period, have been announced for Beyond The Valley Festival, Lost Paradise Festival, Southbound, and NZ’s Day Dreams Festival to round out 2016. They have sold out second and third dates on their national tours time and time again, including selling out a national tour without even announcing it (and then they did it AGAIN).
Just when you thought the party was over, it’s time for the “Kick On”.
