When is Neon Lights 2018 happening?
Neon Lights 2018 is a three-day event from Friday, 9th November 2018 to Sunday, 11th November 2018. Gates open at 6pm on Friday and 2pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Where is Neon Lights Festival 2018?
Fort Gate at the Fort Canning National Park.
Where can I get tickets?

Alternatively, you can also get them at SISTIC outlets and online. If you are based in Malaysia, you can get them via RedTix.
Can I buy the tickets even though I don’t live in Singapore?
Yes, definitely! Just head over to the ticket office links listed above.
What sort of ticketing information should I know about?
All prices are in Singapore dollars and those aged 2 and Under do not require a ticket. Tickets may be subject to a booking fee depending on the ticketing agent you choose.
Are there any discounts for tickets?

Will tickets be available on the day?
There will be limited numbers of tickets available for purchase at a higher price at the door. Purchase your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
How many tickets can I buy in one go?
As many as you wish. There are group combos available!
What happens if I lose my ticket?
You will have to bear any administrative charges associated with the re-printing of your ticket(s).

Entry To The Festival
How do I get there?
We encourage you to take the MRT and alight at Clarke Quay, Dhoby Ghaut or Fort Canning Station and walk about 10 minutes to get to the park. You can also drop off at the Fort Canning Information Centre and walk from there.
How will I enter the festival with my ticket?
You’ll receive your RFID wristband when you scan your e-ticket/ ticket at the entrance of the festival.
Is there an age limit?
Neon Lights is an all-ages event. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult (max 2 under-18s with 1 adult) and they are not permitted to purchase nor consume alcohol.
Please note that the Festival has a Classification Rating of Advisory 16 (Some Mature Content and Course Language).
Will I get my identification checked?
ID checks will be conducted throughout the Festival. Everybody is required to present a valid ID and the Festival reserves the right to deny entry or evict any persons who fail to comply with the ticketing entry terms and conditions.
RFID and top-up
What is cashless?
Neon Lights is going cashless this year. Cashless is a payment system that makes transactions inside the festival faster and easier. You will have a wristband where you can charge the amount of money that you plan to spend and then use it at any bar or food vendor inside the festival area. At the end of your visit, you’ll be able to recover the remaining balance online. Top up can be made using cash, credit card, NETS or OCBC Pay Anyone. Please note that there will be a $2 admin charge for Visa/Master top-ups, but no admin charge for NETS and OCBC Pay Anyone top-ups.
How much should I charge into my wristband?
You can charge your wristband with the amount that you want, but we suggest you to put enough money for your entire visit, as this will allow you to save time in queues and avoid having to go back to the top-up point again if you run out of credit.
Does my wristband have a limit or expiration date?
Your wristband will be valid for the entire duration of the festival and you can use as many times as you want. For security reasons, the maximum amount accepted on the wristband is $500 each time. The minimum top up amount is at $1.
What can I buy with my wristband?
Inside the festival, your wristband is the only accepted payment method. You can use it at every bar and food vendor on festival grounds.
What happen if I don’t have enough credit on my wristband?
If the balance on your wristband/card is too low for the item you are trying to purchase, you won’t be able to pay at any of the vendors. The operator will ask you to go to top-up at any of the top-up booths and will indicate the one closest to you.
How can I get an online refund?
Online refunds usually open 48 hours after the festival and will run till 30th Nov 2018. During this time you will find in the festival’s website the link to the refund form. There you will have to introduce the 14 characters of the unique code that comes on the back of your wristband/card and the details of the bank account where you want your money refunded. We will refund your money within a couple of weeks after the closing date of the refund period.
Is cashless safe?
Yes, your wristband is protected by a highly secure encryption that makes impossible to copy or steal the money and all the information stored on it.
Is my wristband water resistant?
Yes, sun and rain are not a problem for your wristband.
What if I’ve doubts about my balance?
At each location and before/after each transaction you can check the remaining balance on your wristband. If you have doubts about any past transaction, you can go to the InfoPoint in the festival area and ask for your transaction history or keep an eye on it from your personal account.
NOTE: sometimes due to connectivity issues of the devices used in the festival, there might be a delay in updating the transaction history that you see online or at the InfoPoint. In this case, please wait until the end of the day to get your confirmed transaction history.
What happens if I lose my wristband?
Losing your wristband is like losing your wallet and your ticket, so remember to tighten it properly to your wrist or keep it safe in your pocket. Even if you lose it or it gets stolen, you can go to the InfoPoint and ask for a new one. You’ll be asked to show your ticket
and given a new wristband. Your new wristband will not recover any of the balance money from the previous wristband if it was used thereafter. The old wristband becomes invalid once the new one is created. There is no replacement fee for the new wristband.
Why does your refund page show a balance lower than what was remaining at the end of the festival?
The refund system will automatically calculate the correct refundable balance. The money that you received for free as an incentive or a gift cannot be refunded.
How do I recover unspent balance?
If you still have unused balance on your RFID wristband, you may get an online refund from 14 Nov to 30 Nov 2018. Keep your wristband for this refund as you will need the serial number on your wristband. Please note the terms and conditions for refund:
1. Refund option is available from 14 Nov to 30 Oct on our website www.neonlights.sg.
2. There is a minimum of $1 value for any transfers. Foreign transfers are subjected to a $25 administrative charge imposed by the bank. (EG A min of $26 value is required for foreign bank transfer)
3. Refund window closes 30 Nov 2018 at 23:59.
Photography & Video Restrictions
Can I bring my camera?
No professional photography and video equipment is permitted, however point and click cameras and mobile phones are fine.
What should I bring to the Festival?
o Your ticket/wristband

What am I not allowed to bring into the Festival?
o Your own food and drinks. Our licenced foodstalls and bars at the Festival come well stocked with mouth-watering delights and thirst quenchers. All bags will be checked at the point of entry. All drinks bought at the festival are to be consumed within the festival grounds
o Drugs and illegal substances
o Skateboard, scooters, rollerblades, bicycles
o Chairs, bean bags or any other furniture
o Weapons, fires, fireworks, sparklers
o Water pistols, laser lights and pens
o Any other potentially hazardous and dangerous items

Is the line-up the same each day?
The music line up is completely different each day. Some, but not all, of the arts line-up will be the same for Saturday and Sunday. Please browse this website to get more details on who is performing across all three days.
