"Two days of boundary-burning music and art performance, Neon Lights brings to mind the muddy banks of Glastonbury" - Timeout Singapore
Holding the Fort

Holding the Fort
By The Scene Kids

Saturday 26th November & Sunday 27th November

A punk musical bringing together the stories of the local punk community, this production brings together living memory, spoken word and of course, punk music to chart the history of the underground scene in Singapore. Made by punks with a distinctively DIY attitude, this marriage of punk rock and theatre invites the audience to question the relevance of the scene in the changing Singapore landscape, and wrestles for a space to exist in a society that has no room for deviance.

The Scene Kids
Formed in 2014, The Scene Kids are an ensemble who have played music and performed in punk theatre plays together. Brought together with a common love for music and a passion for the local punk scene, this ever growing group of misfits just want to make the world a better place with a message of unity and peace plus a dash of chaos.
